Civic Type R TCR victorious in TCR South America and TCR Brasil

Honda Racing’s Leonel Pernia was victorious in the combined TCR South America and TCR Brasil event at Cascavel on another hugely successful weekend for the JAS Motorsport-built Honda Civic Type R TCR.

 

Pernia’s team mate, Nelson Piquet Jr, took pole position, only to be eliminated in a startline incident in Race 1 and ruled out of any further action. Adrian Chiriano scored pole position in the Trophy class and won the category in Race 2.
