Three more titles for Civic Type R TCR

The Honda Civic Type R TCR secured three more major championship titles last weekend as the JAS Motorsport-built touring car continued its incredible run of success.

ALM Motorsport’s second TCR Europe Teams’ title in three seasons – courtesy of runner-up finishes at Barcelona from Mike Halder and Ruben Volt – was the icing on the cake on a Sunday that had already featured numerous highlights in Asia.

Chief among these was a triple win for ATE Racing with DM23’s Diego Moran at Zhejiang that resulted in him securing the TCR Asia crown.

There was more success at the circuit an hour later as Team TRC’s Frederick Lee snared the TCR China Rookie title, while in Japan, M&K Racing were victorious from pole position in the penultimate Super Taikyu race of 2026.

In total, the Civic Type R TCR has won 132 championship titles including six already in 2026.
